First, the Court.
Duke Ambrose Fortunato, Ventrue Prince of Venice
Raised in life as the eldest son of the Warlord of the City-State of Pisa, Ambrose learned the art of warfare from a very young age. He appears as a man in his late twenties with shoulder-length black hair and silver eyes. He was chosen for the embrace due to his noble blood and heritage and his unique leadership skills. He was given to his sire by his birth father as tribute to the protector of the city in thanks for the overwhelming support and enrichment of the Fortunado family, one of the wealthiest on the peninsula.
Baron Blazh Grigori, Ventrue Seneschal of Venice
Previously know as "Blav the Slav" when he was new embraced, with the mysterious disappearance of his Sire and his four older broodmates, Blazh Grigori, a minor Baron from Prague, has grown into his heritage with tremendous success. He has a violent temper and a sense of justice that makes the recent invasion of China by Genghis Khan look like a toddler's play date. Newcomers to the city will find him a stalwart barrier to their introduction to the Prince. He enjoys his position and the power it gives him over neonates and outsi
Dagmar son of Baldric - Brujah Sheriff of Venice
The seventh son of a Germanic Lord, descended from ancient Germanic tribesmen failed to inherit the family titles and found himself at a crossroads, literally. He could travel West toward Normandy, East to the Carpathians, or further South, as far in the same direction as he could go, far, far away from his family and his lordly brothers. In Venice he met his sire and chose an immortal existence, quickly rising among the Brujah of the region to be known as the most beloved of that clan and consort of the beloved and beautiful Duchess Rosa De La Cour of the Toreador Clan. With her support and her sway over the Prince who loved her, she saw Dagmar set as Sheriff.
Lady Constance the Chaste - Cappadocian Keeper of Venice
Much speculation surrounds the reserved and rarely seen Lady Constance. She keeps strange company and may or may not have a frequent gentleman caller names Anatole. The lady is increasingly paranoid in recent nights. She has taken to dressing as a woman of the cloth, her formal habit. She is known to have been a Priestess of Bones and the protector of the resting place of Cappadocius, himself. No one knows why, just a few short years ago, she came to Venice, nor why she seems to have an unhealthy obsession with a certain Venetian merchant family, called Giovanni.
